Healing begins with every piece.
A gentle space for people who have overcome the seemingly impossible circumstances that life has thrown at you. Or, more importantly, you must have even the slightest interest or desire to see that it is possible.
Through poetry, storytelling, and her experience as both a patient and a nurse, Kris Corbett invites you to step into a journey of healing, reclaiming one’s voice, and wholeness — one piece at a time.
A Note From Kris
Some pieces of our story we choose.
Others are handed to us in moments we never asked for.
But piece by piece — through healing, acceptance, and courage — I’ve learned that we can build something beautiful from the broken.
My writing, my speaking, and this space exist for people like me…
for the healthcare professionals and caregivers who hold so much…
for anyone navigating trauma, identity, or the quiet ache that comes from being human.
You are not alone in your healing.
You are not too much, too late, or too broken.
You are becoming.
“My signature once looked perfect — before years of signing medical charts. Now it’s imperfect, but it’s mine… and that feels just right.”
